Sue started her business career at Price Waterhouse Coopers in their Boston office. From there she joined United Asset Management Corporation last serving as Vice-President. While at UAM, Sue was an officer in their Corporate Development Group and a member their Operations Team. Sue received a Bachelor of Science degree in Business, magna cum laude, from Merrimack College.

Emma’s House is named in memory of a Megan’s House graduate who lost her battle with substance use disorder in 2016. At that time, the Foundation had not opened Erin’s House and she was unable to find sober housing.

After graduating from the University of Massachusetts Lowell and Salem State College with her Master’s degree in Education, Martha began her teaching career in the Lowell Public Schools, as a K-5 grade art specialist. After starting her family, she took time of to raise her 3 children, Suzanne, John and Mariah. During this time Martha devoted herself to volunteering in the Andover School System as the PTO President, where she raised awareness for cultural diversity in the classroom. In addition, Martha was a member of the Andona Society and is an advocate for the Monastery of Poor Claire. For the past 14 years, she has worked in the field of Special Education at Wood Hill Middle School. As a seasoned educator, coach and marketing executive, Ms. Coimbra brings with her an understanding and background of youth in our community.

At Teras, clients work with their on-site case manager and our vocational coach to develop a recovery fellowship and engage work. Clients of Teras may also be involved in outpatient treatment while they develop a foundation in sober house their recovery work, and apply to work positions. After 30 days, clients are expected to be employed while they continue progress in their recovery work.

Also included, our community offers activities, like weekend rock climbing, golf, and basketball. On Saturdays, clients can participate in engagement activities, like trampoline dodgeball, go-kart racing, and escape room challenges. We provide opportunities for meaningful development of community and positive social connection through these experiences and more.

Louise is a strong advocate for education, support, recovery and treatment. She spent 25 years working at local institutions such as Saints Medical Center and the Greater Lowell Cancer Program. In these facilities, she was a cancer registrar, program coordinator, and data manager of clinical trials. She has also held many positions on regional and national Cancer Registrar Boards. Amenities include on site laundry, air conditioning, parking, full kitchens, living/dining rooms and quick access to public transportation. Prior to Masshire, Shaun was the Director of the Working Cities Lowell Initiative which is funded through the Federal Reserve Bank of Boston’s Working Cities Challenge grant program. Working Cities Lowell was a cross-sector coalition of 13 core institutions working with residents and business owners in the Acre neighborhood of Lowell.
